Selena Gomez had no idea how much hard work recording her first album with The Scene was going to be.. Thankfully her BFF Taylor Swift was there to cheer her on! Sel revealed to Tiger Beat: 'We called it pep time with Swift time. She was on her tour bus and texted and called me. She texts me random nice things every day, it's very sweet.'
Taylor was extremely helpful with Sel's album: 'Taylor has been my mentor through a lot of things. She's like an older sister so she tells me everything from picking out my band and stage to getting prepared to tour.' Selena is dying to go on tour, but has a few warm up shows set up: 'I want to do some local shows. That [The tour] would be fun!'

From Nick: Selena Gomez was at Disneyland today getting interviewed by the castle away from public view. She then had a quick photoshoot with Stitch in front of the castle. Here are a few pictures of her leaving the park. A Disneyland worker stated that Selena will be performing for the ABC Christmas Parade tomorrow around 8 AM on Nov. 8. Demi Lovato is also supposedly performing at Disneyland on Monday for the parade.

From Alyssa: Me & my friends went to Knotts Scary Farm on 10/30 and when we were walking there was a group of people & I noticed that Selena Gomez was with them. I said her name & she said hi to me and I asked to get a picture but the security wouldn't let us. We ended up going behind her in the Corn Stalkers Maze and she gave me a hug & we got to take pictures. The security guard tried blocking the picture of just me & Selena & she told him we were taking another picture. She was really sweet & so nice. It was amazing meeting her!

One of my best friends is Taylor Swift, and I know that she is super busy with tour, but we always find time to call one to another.But it is cool to have someone to talk about school with. Taylor is someone that I can talk about a bad day on set because she understand what it is. If I call some friend from Texas and complained of lighting in set, they aren't going to understand. What is the most important thing in a friendship?
Honesty. This is very important. And to never judge people. When a friend does something that she isn't proud I never judge her. Because the issue isn't to judge is to accept it the way it is, and be there to comfort her. Is there some competition between friends who are musicians?
No, not in any way. My friends are my mentors. If I have any problem with melody or a harmony or if I'm not sure if something will sound good, Taylor or someone can help me and say if it will be good on the stage. It's good to have this support because I'm still novice. With so much work do you still have time to date? Ah.. I have. But I don't focus to much in this right now cause I'm young.
